This Corporate Social Responsibility Statement outlines how we aim to ensure we have a positive impact on our community and environment and those of our customers and suppliers.
The Oldroyd Publishing Group Ltd (OPG), established in 1974, has two areas of speciality:
The first is the provision of a range of print and web publications for G.P. surgeries (including appointment cards and websites) which can be sponsored by advertising.
The second is the provision of a website service on a pay-monthly basis, to a wide range of non G.P. business categories.
Consequently, we offer both highly targeted advertising opportunities and excellent promotional services to local businesses throughout the UK and Ireland. Our satisfied customers are testimony to our commitment to delivering excellent value for money and a high level of customer satisfaction.
We want our employees to enjoy their work and their working environment, so OPG is committed to the wellbeing, continual support and development of our team. Our team is appreciated and valued, with regular opportunities to collaborate and contribute to the success of the business. We aim to consult with our employees regularly on ways in which together we can strive for success.
We expect our employees to act with integrity towards one another, our customers and our suppliers; respectful of all. Our employees uphold our high standards of business practice and customer service.
We fully support diversity, fairness and equal opportunities. We ensure that legislative requirements are met and wherever possible exceeded.

Our aim is to support local businesses wherever possible.
Our aim is for our suppliers to align with our values with regard to service delivery and our various responsibilities to community and environment – we all benefit when we all do better.
We work with our printers to ensure our products are printed on carbon capture paper.
We recycle many items, such as paper/card, bottles and cans, reducing the waste going to landfill, and we no longer use single-use plastic items.
We support a variety of charity events, both for national and local organisations. These include Locals Helping Locals, Women's Aid, Macmillan, Lennox Children's Cancer Trust, Breast Cancer Now, Circus Starr and more.
Most of our employees live within the local area, and certainly all live within Lancashire.
