Set Outgoing Mail Port to 366

Your computer communicates with the internet using connection points known as ports. Certain ports are commonly used for specific types of communication. Outgoing email is usually routed via port number 25.

As an anti-spam measure, many Internet Service Providers now block port 25 for any traffic trying to access a third party email server. This stops you from sending mail through our server (and leads to error messages and your outgoing messages just sitting in the outbox).

Fortunately, there is a way around this problem by changing the port number used for sending email on your computer. Please select the email application you use from the list below and follow the instuctions provided.

Entourage for Mac | Apple Mail | Incredimail and Other E-mail Applications

Outlook Express and Outlook 2000 To change the outgoing mail port to 366 in Outlook Express and Outlook 2000:

1. Open Outlook Express or Outlook 2000.
2. Click the Tools menu, then click Accounts.
3. Click your e-mail account, then click the Properties button.
4. Click the Advanced tab.
5. In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) box, type 366.
6. Click the OK button.
7. Click the Close button.

Outlook® 2002/2003 To change the outgoing mail port to 366 in Outlook® 2002/2003:

1. Open Outlook 2002 or 2003.
2. Click the Tools menu, then click E-mail Accounts.
3. Click the View or change existing e-mail accounts option, then click the Next button.
4. Click your e-mail account, then click the Change button.
5. Click the More Settings button.
6. Click the Advanced tab.
7. In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) box type 366.
8. Click the OK button.
9. Click the Next button.
10. Click the Finish button.

Eudora Set Outgoing Mail Port to 366 in Eudora

1. Open Eudora.
2. Click the Tools menu, then click Options.
3. Scroll down to, then click, Ports.
4. In the SMTP Port (25): box, type 366.
5. Click OK button.
6. Restart Eudora.

Entourage for Mac Set Outgoing Mail Port to 366 in Entourage for Mac

1. Open Entourage for Mac.
2. Click the Tools menu, the click Accounts.
3. Click your e-mail account, then click the Edit button.
4. Click the Click Here for Advanced Sending Options link.
5. Click the Override Default SMTP Port box to place a check mark in it.
6. In the SMTP Port box, type 366.
7. Close the Settings window.
8. Click the OK button.
9. Close the Accounts window.

1. Open Mail.
2. Click the Mail menu, then click Preferences.
3. Click the Accounts icon.
4. Click the Account Information tab.
5. Click the Server Settings button.
6. In the Server Port box, type 366.
7. Click the OK button.
8. Restart Mail.

Ensure that your E-mail program is set to use outgoing mail (SMTP) port 366. If the port is set to anything else, the e-mail will not be delivered. If you need assistance changing the port, contact the manufacturer of the program.
